Paduan Gitar Serafim is a guitar ensemble, with the composition of more than fifteen acoustic guitar, two violin, and flute played by the youth and teenager of GKJ Jakarta. Serafim was formed on 8 August 1998 which is the development of an ensemble of flute, guitar and violin by some youth GKJ Jakarta at the time. Serafim consistently bring the color of contemporary classical music, which combined with the theme of divine and contempelation.
Serafim often serve in many non-profit music events especially spiritual worship until now. The first appearance is in the GKI Pondok Indah. and during the journey has been serving in a variety of religious and secular events around Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor and Bandung.
Serafim taught by mr. Bimo and mrs. Tris (ISI Yogyakarta); mr. Harry Purwanto (Orkestra Percik); mr. Andang Sukma (Kawai), and mr. Johan Yudha (UNJ / Jakarta Enam Senar). Serafim members are free of charge. Training materials every week such as: technique and variations playing guitar in classical or modern sytle, partitur / tablatur reading, and knowledge about art especially music art.
